As in sculpture, painting is about the confrontation between material, tools, means of expression and the artistic idea. My tools are brushes, paint rollers and the like. My means of expression are water, acrylic paints, bitumen, coal and more. Spatiality and volume are created through the interaction of surface and line.
The human form is at the center of my concepts. Humans are part and creators of their living space. All experience is sensually experienced through our body. My art revolves around these connections. Depending on the situation, different issues then arise.
